A Dark Protector was a Fixed Date Quest that ran from the ??th of July, 2012 for 4 days. It had 8 parts to complete within the time.
It was released again, on Android only, in April 2013.

- get dark destrier (6 hours to build)
- defeat 3 pirates
- 4 mermaid searches
Reward: 3,500 coins
Step 2[]
- Send Cpt. Beth's Cruiser on a medium voyage
- Send Cpt. John's Merchantman on short voyage
- Collect twice from Copper mine
Reward: 6,500 coins
Step 3[]
- Buy Bruce Mansion (12 hours to build buy this before you reach step 3)
- Purchase two stone towers (2 minutes to build)
- Upgrade wheat farmer to tier 3
Reward: 7,500 coins
Step 4[]
- Build The Forge (16 hours to build)
- Upgrade The Forge to Tier 2
- Send Cpt. John's Merchantman for medium voyage
Reward: 8,500 coins
Step 5[]
- Build a Net Merchant (16 hours to build)
- Upgrade Net Merchant to Tier 2
- Do 5 mermaid searches
Reward: 9,500 coins
Step 6[]
The Clown
Reward: 10,000 coins
Step 7[]
- Complete a voyage
- Upgrade Net Merchant to Tier 3
Reward: 11,000 coins
Step 8[]
- Defeat 5 pirates
- Defeat the clown again (this will count towards defeating 5 pirates)
